Los Hermanos Zuleta
Colombian Emiliano Alcides Zuleta and Tomás Alfonso Zuleta, aka Poncho, performed together for the first time while participating in a local contest called Leyenda Vallenata in 1969. That same year, they teamed up with Nicolás Mendoza, recording "La Diosa Coronada," "Los Dias Malos," and "La Bata Negra," producing their own debut album called Mis Preferidas soon after. During the following years, los Hermanos Zuleta made La Cita, Mi Canto Sentimental, and Rio Crecido, among other successful records. After a temporary breakup, Emiliano and Poncho returned with El Zuletazo.
