KILLBOY
Texarkana native Sara Skinner, who operates under the stage name KillBoy, is an alt pop singer, songwriter, and producer with a sound rooted in trap, punk, and electro-pop. Raised in a conservative household, she taught herself production and adopted the KillBoy moniker to keep her musical endeavors hidden from her family. Released in 2019, her bedroom-produced debut single, "Wheredafucc," earned millions of streams and precipitated a move to Los Angeles. She kept the momentum going in 2020 and 2021 with crafty pop confections like "High on My Own Supply," "Travis," "Fuck Yo Friends," and "U + Me," all of which became streaming hits. After inking a deal with Atlantic, Killboy issued her debut EP, My Crush, in 2022. A standalone single, "Sara," appeared later that year.
