Just Off Turner
The earliest incarnation of Just Off Turner was founded in Arkansas by Bryan Mounce (vocals, guitar) and Eric Gustafson (vocals, drums) and drew its inspiration from acts such as Coldplay and John Mayer. The duo relocated to Los Angeles in 2001 and recruited Phil Metzler (keyboards, vocals) and Stephen Andrews (bass, vocals) to round out the group. Their first album, End of Play, was released in 2003. After garnering an endorsement from none other than John Mayer, the group was featured on the New! Discover Music website and released its second CD, The Long Walk Back, all in 2007.
