Jordan Max
A British singer/songwriter with a dark neo-soul edge, Oldham-based Jordan Max's heavy-hearted croon and brooding melodies invoke names like Zak Abel, John Newman, Jacob Banks, and Raleigh Ritchie. Employing a compelling blend of alternative pop, R&B, and hip-hop, Max emerged in 2016 with a pair of well-received singles, "Hell" and "Let Me Lay Down," via his Bandcamp page. He released his debut EP, Only One Is King, in March 2017, which earned him a support slot with fellow Brit-soul artist on the rise Jorja Smith, and a publishing deal with Danger Mouse. In 2018 he followed up on the success of the Only One Is King with a second EP, War, which was released via Neon Gold Records.
