Fredy Sierra
Colombian accordionist Fredy Sierra started playing at the age of 15. He made his international debut in 1994 with the release of Vallenato, recorded along with Eligio Vega. On the album, he performs the basic rhythms of paseo, son, puya, and merengue of the vallenato style. In 1995, Fredy Sierra was crowned as King of La Leyenda Vallenata, the most popular folk festival in Colombia.
