Dream
An anonymous online gamer and musician, the smiley-face-mask-wearing Dream initially garnered attention for his Minecraft-related videos before releasing his earnest electro-acoustic pop songs. In 2021, he issued a handful of tracks including "Mask," "Roadtrip," and "Change My Clothes." His debut EP, to whoever wants to hear, arrived in 2023.
Possibly born in 1999 in Florida, Dream created his online video profile in 2014 and started uploading video game content in 2019. Hiding his identity under his trademark white-and-black smiley face mask, he built a large fan base with his Minecraft Manhunt video series in which he would play speedruns of the well-known game. His popularity grew so much that in 2020 and 2021 he took home the online Streamy Award for Gaming. Building upon his success, Dream started releasing music beginning with "Roadtrip," a collaboration with PmBata issued in February 2021. A second single, "Mask," arrived that May and was followed in August by "Change My Clothes," a collaboration with singer/guitarist Alec Benjamin. All of this led up to the release of their debut EP, to whoever wants to hear, which arrived in September 2023 and included the singles "Until I End Up Dead" and "Everest."
