As the tireless bandleader and timbalero of La Orquesta Puertorriquena, Don Perignon is one of the foremost exponents of big-band salsa in his native Puerto Rico. In 2004, the high-octane powerhouse celebrated 20 years of music with Don Perignon Presenta a la Orquesta Puertorriquena: 20th Aniversario, an 11-track collection that, in true Perignon fashion, featured an endless parade of salsa stalwarts, including Victor Manuelle, Josue Rosado, Andy Montañez, Luisito Carrion, and Pedro Brull, among others.
