Diego Rivas
Originally from the northwestern city of Culiacan in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico, Diego Rivas began his career in music singing at various school functions, inspired by the music of greats like Pedro Infante, Javier Solís, Los Tigres del Norte, and Ramon Ayala. After a stint singing with Arriba Mi Sinaloa, Rivas' love of mariachi, corrido, norteño, and banda influences informed his impending solo career, which he kicked off in 2006. He has kept a busy schedule since, releasing the albums Soy Yo, El Comander, Mori, Brindo con Sangre, and En Vivo Desde Guadalajara, among others.
