Danny Seth

A U.K. MC who launched his career via the U.S., North Londoner Danny Seth moved to Los Angeles thanks to a record label internship. He grew up a fan of Michael Jackson until Eminem albums introduced him to hip-hop, but his first swing at performance came as a DJ as he gigged at clubs and spun tracks from the first wave of underground dubstep. An internship at a record label brought him to L.A., and while he couldn't imagine a U.S. label picking up an MC with such a heavy accent, his hometown friends Modestep soon launched their own career out of L.A., so he reconsidered. Sounding like a grime MC backed by hardcore rap tracks, he self-released his debut album, Perception, in 2015. That same year he introduced his streetwear brand Boadicea, which released designs from his crew, the British Are Coming.
