Best Friends
Best Friends are a garage pop quartet based out of Sheffield, England. Formed in 2011 by singer/guitarist Lewis Sharman, guitarist Tom Roper, bassist Ed Crisp, and drummer Jonny Gaymer, they released their debut EP that same year before signing with Art Is Hard Records. Their label debut arrived in 2012 with the Throwing Up EP, a six-song mix of fuzzy surf tones and brazen indie pop. They issued a split single with hardcore punks Grazes in late 2012, then followed up with a double-A side single of their own in 2013. By 2014, they had signed with veteran British indie Fat Cat Records who delivered Best Friends' debut album Hot. Reckless. Totally Insane. in the summer of 2015.
