BABYMETAL

De Japanse formatie Babymetal combineert J-Pop met heavy metal. De band wordt in 2010 in Tokio opgericht en bestaat aanvankelijk uit Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal), Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) en Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal). Wanneer Yuimetal in 2018 stopt om gezondheidsredenen gaat Babymetal door als duo. De groep debuteert in 2014 met het album Babymetal, dat wordt opgevolgd door Metal Resistance (2016) en Metal Galaxy (2019).
