Aschkobar

born in Grozny in 1989, Asche, whose real name is Amir Israel Aschenberg, moved to the German Ruhr metropolis of Bochum with his parents at a young age. After devoting himself primarily to various martial arts as a teenager, he began to take an interest in hip-hop at the age of 16 and wrote his first lyrics. As a young and motivated gangsta rapper, he released his first musical exclamation mark with "Das erste Mal" in 2008. The debut EP Mephisto, released in 2013, attracted a great deal of attention on the German hip-hop circuit. In 2015, Aschenberg provided emotional and very personal insights into his childhood on Barcodes. After a creative break, Asche returned in 2018 with tracks such as "CLS" (feat. SadiQ), "Kein Problem" and "Dschingis Khan", on which he turned to a poppier trap sound with autotune vocals. 2018 also saw the premiere of Pandemonium and the switch to Alpha Music Empire, before Asche accompanied label boss and gangsta rap luminary Kollegah on his promotional tour for the album Alphagene II the following year, with Asche himself appearing as a feature star on the tracks "YAYO" and "Offenes Verdeck" . for Aschenberg, 2020 is the year in which he reliably mixes up the charts: while the song "Wir sind Täter" (feat. Kollegah) reaches number 61, "Sinaloa", which was created alongside Fard and Kollegah, even manages to jump to number 38 in the German singles charts. Kollegah, on the other hand, recorded the collabo opus Natural Born Killas with Asche in 2021, landing his first number 1 hit in the German charts. His own second album Was bleibt ist Asche is also released in 2021 and, with a third place in the German LP charts and a fifth place in the Swiss LP charts, marks the biggest solo successes to date for the MC, who is now one of the spearheads of the local rap business.
