Adz
Punk survivors ADZ formed in 1991 from the remnants of the legendary Orange County band the Adolescents, reuniting original frontman Tony Reflex (a.k.a. Tony Adolescent), guitarist Rikk Agnew and drummer Casey Royer. Shortening their name to ADZ, the group signed with Lethal Records to release their comeback effort Where Were You?; when both Royer and Agnew quit after just a handful of local shows, Reflex opted to continue on, recruiting guitarists Kirk Mosher and Roger Ramjet, bassist Mike Rouse and drummer Matt Young for the follow-up, 1995's Piper at the Gates of Downey. Another series of line-up changes saw Ramjet and Rouse exit in favor of original Adolescents guitarist Frank Agnew, guitarist "Slippery" George Paras and bassist Bruce Duff; Transmissions from Planet Speedball followed in 1998, and a year later ADZ issued Odz'n'Sodz.
