Boosted by electronic producer Boys Noize, this soundtrack to the 2024 Luca Guadagnino film Challengers is among Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' best film work, an exciting thrill ride to match the back-and-forth tennis theme of the hot and steamy love triangle in the movie. The techno heartbeat of the original score throbs and pulses even harder with Boys Noize's input, making it slightly more immediate (check out "Compress/Repress" to really get that blood pumping). Not just any old soundtrack, this not only pairs perfectly with the movie but it also stands on its own as one of the highlights in the Reznor/Ross discography -- both in terms of soundtracking and their work in Nine Inch Nails.
