With Don Juan, Maluma introduces a new alter ego to replace "Papi Juancho," whom he killed off in 2022. The title is drawn in part from the infamous 17th century Lothario and in part after his given name. Maluma is far more experimental here with a multi-dimensional soundscape in his production. Still, he continues to draw a through line from his roots to the expansive, creative present in "La Fórmula" (feat, Marc Anthony), "Diablo, Que Chimnba" (feat. Anuel AA), and "Gafas Negras" (feat. J Balvin). The evidence appears on the luscious, exotic, summer vibes of solo set stealer "Bikini."

Album review
With Don Juan, Maluma introduces a new alter ego to replace "Papi Juancho," whom he killed off in 2022. The title is drawn in part from the infamous 17th century Lothario and in part after his given name. Maluma is far more experimental here with a multi-dimensional soundscape in his production. Still, he continues to draw a through line from his roots to the expansive, creative present in "La Fórmula" (feat, Marc Anthony), "Diablo, Que Chimnba" (feat. Anuel AA), and "Gafas Negras" (feat. J Balvin). The evidence appears on the luscious, exotic, summer vibes of solo set stealer "Bikini."
