Hannah Jadagu

Fusing ethereal bedroom pop with low-key guitar jangle, Texas native Hannah Jadagu earned national buzz for a series of indie singles she released while still in high school. A 2021 deal with Sub Pop yielded her debut EP, What Is Going On?, later that year. Aperture, her full-length debut and first professional studio recording, arrived in 2023. Jadagu grew up in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite Springs and began experimenting with music production at a young age. Her creative outlet developed into a passion during her teenage years and she began to record her music at home using rudimentary software and simple gear. Inspired by bedroom pop artists like Yeek, Her's, and Gus Dapperton, Jadagu crafted her own atmospheric tracks like "Pollen" and the dreamy "Unending" which she uploaded to streaming platforms. After moving to New York, she was signed to Sub Pop during her freshman year at New York University. Jadagu made her label debut in early 2021 with the lush, introspective single "Think Too Much," which appeared on her first EP, What Is Going On?, in April of that year. "All My Time Is Wasted" was released later in the year, and "Say It Now" followed in 2022. Her full-length debut Aperture, recorded in France with co-producer Max Robert Baby, was issued in 2023.
