Dwellings
Based in Modesto, California, indie duo Dwellings fuse passionate blasts of emo with post-hardcore and progressive/math rock elements in the vein of acts like Dance Gavin Dance and Hail the Sun.
Members Isaac Wilson and Anthony Pacheco began working with producer Josh Benton (Dance Gavin Dance), emerging with their debut single, "Lemonade," in October 2016. Their hard-hitting but melodic sound drew a buzz in the post-hardcore community and they followed up that December with a second song, "Foreverest." By the time they'd finished recording their debut, a deal was in place with Tragic Hero Records, which issued Dwellings' full-length debut, Lavender Town, in June 2018.
