Daniel Allan

Louisville, Kentucky-raised dance music producer Daniel Allan made a splash as a Web3 success story when he minted his 2022 Overstimulated and Glass House EPs as NFTs during the COVID-19 pandemic, blazing a trail for other music artists to follow. He went on to put out a string of singles in subsequent years, from the "Ball!" single with Kevin George in 2022 and the "Gassing You Up" single with Vancouver-born rapper Reo Cragun in 2023 to "Duality" with bloody white, also released in 2023 and all shot through with his glitchy, playful energy. Joined again by Reo Cragun, he bridged the gap between hip-hop and electronic music with 2023's Criteria project for Family Affair, the result of a partnership with the Canadian rapper that first began unfolding in 2021. Another seven-track project appeared in 2023, Duality, marked out again by a series of collaborations, including "I Just Need" with Lyrah and "Safe" with Madalen Duke and Tisoki. A jittery, jungle-indebted VIP remix of "I Just Need" followed while the original single lit up the dance music radio Top 40 in the US.
