With a big, bright smile beaming from a school photo on the cover of this release, California rapper Kyle issued the promise See You When I Am Famous!!!!!!!!!!!! As hinted by that picture of his younger self, he calls upon the past for inspiration on this set, reconnecting with his former K.i.D. persona. Delivering languid bars and smooth sung vocals over fun and carefree production from Hit-Boy, naz, and others, Kyle dishes out nostalgia and sweetness on the triumphant "Money Now" with Johnny Yukon and Tyga, and "YES!" with K Camp and Rich the Kid. Other guests include Rico Nasty, Trippie Redd, iann dior, Too $hort, Bryson Tiller, and Raphael Saadiq (the latter pair appearing on the touching gem "The Sun"). For fans of Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, and Chance the Rapper, Kyle offers an ideal sonic middle ground, delivering on the initial declaration of See You When I Am Famous!!!!!!!!!!!! by honoring his past and celebrating his position in the game in 2020.
