Slo Burn are a loud four-piece with a sound that places them somewhere east of grunge and west of metal. Their songs tend toward simple structures formed out of monolithic rhythm guitars, cracking drums, a handful of vocal harmonies that seem out of place, and whining guitar solos that come and go and vibrate weirdly on the way. They have texture, but no tone.
