In 2016 haalt de Belgische formatie Portland de finale van Humo’s Rock Rally. Drie jaar later ligt er het debuutalbum Your Colours Will Stain. Het is een plaat met fragiele en soms betoverende dreampop, waarbij de samenzang van vocalisten Sarah Pepels en Jente Pironet de songs regelmatig naar een zeer hoog niveau tillen. Bovendien weet de band beats en samples moeiteloos samen te laten gaan met piano- en gitaarklanken.
