James Galway proves that there may be no more perfect instrument to depict the baroque style more effectively than the flute in his newly released Pachelbel Canon and Other Baroque Favorites. It includes Vivaldi's Four Season "Spring," and Telemann's "Suite for Flute and Strings," Handel's "Messiah: Pastoral Symphony," and Bach's "Sonata No.2: Sicilano," besides the beloved "Canon D Minor" by Pachelbel.
