Jorkan

Jorkan is a Panamanian rapper and singer whose sound blends hip-hop, trap, reggaeton, and dancehall, and his often-explicit lyrics revolve around living the ghetto life large, Caribbean style. Born Jorge Denilson Quijada Morris in 2002, he grew up listening to U.S. rappers such as 50 Cent, Biggie, and Drake, whose influence can be felt on Jorkan's full-length debut Norte Time. First released in 2020 and later distributed by Warner Music Latina, it was quickly followed in 2021 by Now or Never. That same year Jorkan had his biggest hit to date when he appeared on BCA's "Top Model," which also featured T.O.T. Jorkan continued to collaborate with other Panamanian artists such as Danny Yash, Eiby, Verzatyl, El Tachi, and Anyuri, but from 2022 onward, he also focused on attracting a bigger international audience by working with renowned urbano producers K4G, Dímelo Flow, and Cerebro. Alongside a steady stream of singles, he released the EPs 6 Capítulos (2022), Sal Si Puedes (2023), and Young Legend (2024).
