Wenge Musica BCBG
One of two bands formed when Musica Wenge split in the early '90s, Wenge Musica BCBG (Bon Chic, Beaux Gens) was the more successful of the two. The group was led by vocalist Jean-Baptiste "J.B." M'Piana Tshituka (born: 1967), a three-time best Congolese singer and a three-time best Congolese star. The band became known as J.B. M'Piana and Wenge Musica BCBG in 1996. Their first album following the change, Feux De L'amour, reached gold record status.
