Veysel

A native of Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia whose rhymes are typically delivered in brusque fashion over lean and dramatic productions, Veysel has been active since the start of the 2010s. Prior to making his debut, he developed a deep interest in his genre as a teenager. The music of 2Pac had a particularly profound impact on him. "Lieben & Hassen" marked his entry in 2010, after which he continued with a steady rate of output -- through tracks as a headliner and guest -- for several years. His early full-length releases included the mixtape 43 Therapie (2013) and the album Audiovisuell (2014), both of which were issued through Aykut Anhan's Azzlack label. Upon his departure from Azzlack, Veysel moved to Bela Boyz and released "Bargeld," "Kleiner Cabrón," and "Yakuza" -- some of his most popular singles -- ahead of the album Hitman (2017).
