Tramaine

Tramaine (also known as Tramaine Hawkins) spent about two weeks with the Honey Cones in the late '60s before she joined the Edwin Hawkins Singers after marrying Walter Hawkins, and was a featured singer with the Hawkins Family in the '70s. Tramaine debuted as a solo artist in the '80s with albums on the Light, A&M, and Sparrow labels. She has a strong, belting vocal style and sings traditional Black gospel numbers or ballads such as "Highway" and "The Potter's House."
