Jodyline Gallavardin

Jodyline Gallavardin joined the CNSMD in Lyon at the age of 17. Trained by some of the greatest masters, including Marie-Josèphe Jude and Georges Pludermacher, she obtained a double degree in piano and chamber music in 2015, before joining the Accademia Internazionale Incontri Col Maestro di Imola the following year. She was soon attracted by the idea of performing with other musicians, and regularly performs alongside the Yako Quotuor, the soprano Manon Lamaison and the cellist Anastasia Kobekina. Noticed by Radio France, where she participated in the Génération Jeunes Interprètes programme, which promotes the young artists of tomorrow, she was awarded a prize by the SAFRAN Foundation in 2019 and won the "Special Bach" prize at the Nordic Piano Competition. She has performed in France, Turkmenistan, Italy, and also in Sweden where she is currently a resident at the Ingesund Piano Center in Arkiva.

Supported by the Banque Populaire Foundation, Jodyline Gallavardin recorded her first album Lost Paradises in 2021. The album was released in the spring of 2022 on the Scala Music label, and was praised by our experts who awarded her a well- deserved Qobuzissime. For this first programme, Gallavardin did not hesitate to bring together the equally different worlds of Cowell, Sibelius, Granados, Schubert and
Ravel. Lost Paradises is all about introspection and contemplation, and offers the listener a priceless moment of peace in the midst of the din of our contemporary world. The pianist lulls and envelops us in a phrasing of infinite delicacy, where each note breathes in deep resonance. Pierre Lamy/Qobuz
