Jason Zhang
Jason Zhang – born in Chengdu, Sichuan on December 20, 1982 - is a pop singer best known for his epic ballads. He first came to prominence on the reality TV program My Show in 2004. His debut full-length, The First Album, was released in 2005 and included the single “Love of the Plough.” His popularity continued with the release of his second album, Love Me Again, in 2006. The following year, he participated in the TV show Super Boy, winning new legions of fans after finishing fourth and releasing the EP The Most Beautiful Sun. He continued to issue a series of successful albums including The Day After Tomorrow (2008), It’s Love (2010), One Chance (2012), Just Love (2013), Sound of My Heart (2016), Future Live (2018), and Songs of Youth (2020). In 2016, Jason Zhang performed the song “Lost in the Stars” on the Chinese soundtrack to the movie Star Trek: Beyond. Over the course of his career, Jason Zhang won many awards including Most Popular Male Singer (Mainland) over 30 times from the Youth Choice Awards, the Chinese Music Alliance, Music Radio China, the Spirite Original Music Awards, Baidu Entertainment Boiling Point, the Hong Kong TVB8 Awards, Music Pioneer Awards, SETV Hit Music Awards, and many others.
