Hunterchild
Indiana-based duo Hunterchild make dark, raw, and sexy R&B-influenced electronic pop music. Featuring the talents of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Luke Aaron Jones and keyboardist/percussionist Marty Sprowles, Hunterchild formed around 2013 after the duo's previous band, Dreamers of the Ghetto, abruptly called it quits. The breakup, which also resulted in a divorce between Jones and Dreamers keyboardist Lauren Jones, planted the seeds for Hunterchild's deeply emotional yet stripped-down electronic soul sound. Hunterchild released their debut self-titled album on Temporary Residence in 2014.
