Dominion

Though Dominion has a very inconsistent release schedule, it can be forgiven since main-man Andrew Szava-Kovats is usually busy writing material for his three other projects: Data Bank A, Compound and Parade of Sinners. The Massachusetts native began working as early as 1983, with half a dozen Data Bank A releases during the 1980s for the German Subtronic Records. Then the Parade of Sinners project debuted during the late '80s, releasing three cassette-only albums. Dominion had initially come together in 1985, but the release of their debut album Manhunt came over four years later, for the Belgian Kk Records. Lost followed one year later (released on Cargo in the U.S.), but then Szava-Kovats concentrated on his Compound alias, releasing two albums on Dossier during the early '90s. He returned to Dominion only in late 1997, with Only the Strong Survive for Metropolis Records.
