Dj Lewis
Ivorian coupé-décalé disc jockey DJ Lewis was born in Port-Bouët on October 27, 1984. He shot to fame in 2005 with his participation in the DJ Attalaku Orange competition, which enabled him to launch and release his debut album Stop Grippe Aviaire the following year, featuring his first hit "Grippe aviaire". At the African Diaspora Awards, held in London in 2006, he was awarded the prize for "Best Artist" and embarked on an extensive tour of the USA the following year. Again awarded the "Best Artist" prize at the Konig Kunde d'Or and the Djembé d'Or at the Kora Awards in 2007, he made his French debut on stage at Le Bataclan alongside rapper Mokobé, who performed the track "Bisou" with him. Over the following years, he consolidated his popularity with new hits such as "Kpango", "Sans Guebe", as well as " Tremou Tremou", "Connexion", "Zoto", "Mais Allô Quoi", "On en a marre " and "Stop Ebola" . In 2015, he collaborated with reggae-dancehall artist Krys on the track "Azumbo", then came back with the single "Dis-moi non", and had more hits in the following years with "Pédaler " in 2020 and "Apoutchou " with Fior de Bior in 2021.
