Corynne CHARBY
Corinne Charbit was born in Paris on July 12, 1960. Initially a model and actress, she played the female lead in the 1981 film La Chèvre. She then turned to singing under the pseudonym Corynne Charby. In 1984, the single "À Cause de toi " was composed by Didier Barbelivien. It wasn't until 1986 that she found success with the famous song "Boule de flipper ", given to her by Christophe. " Pile ou face" was another hit in 1987, but the album Toi released the same year had only limited impact. After her marriage in 1987, Corynne Charby retired from artistic life. Her hits can be found on compilations such as her Greatest Hits (2001) or Best of (2011), as well as those devoted to the 1980s and the Top 50.
