Bizzy Crook

Bizzy Crook, whose real name is Lazaro Camejo, is an American rapper and songwriter hailing from Miami, Florida. Born on December 27, 1991, he spent a big part of his childhood in Egypt before returning to the United States, receiving his musical education from the likes of Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, and Kanye West. After cutting his teeth with the Florida-based collective PayUp! Game, Bizzy Crook landed a record deal with entrepreneur Mona Scott and made his official solo debut on the 2011 mixtape P.S. I'm Sorry, recorded while he was still in high school. Despite being dropped by the label shortly after, the Florida rapper soldiered on and achieved critical success as an independent artist with mixtapes such as P.S. I'm Sorry 2 (2013), 84 (2013), and No Hard Feelings (2014), which accumulated millions of streams across different platforms and helped him secure an opening act slot for rappers Kid Ink and Wale. Following the release of his fifth mixtape Coming to America in 2014, Bizzy Crook raised his public profile even more with an appearance at the 2015 Made in America concert, whose stard-studded lineup included performances by Beyoncé, The Weeknd, and J. Cole. Over the following years, he continued to earn the respect and admiration of his peers in the rap business through mixtapes like While You Were Away (2016) and A Part of Everything (2016) before putting out his studio debut Before I Jump in 2018. Subsequent releases such as Confetti (2019), From Me to You (2020), La Pharmacia (2021), and Good Times Are Killing Me (2022) fulfilled the promise of his early material, finally cementing his status as an up-and-coming talent in the world of hip-hop. Never Forget, his first extended play, was released in 2023 and featured the Leland collaboration "Pressure."
