Alex Sampson
Canadian pop artist Alex Sampson combines upbeat rhythms, dynamic vocals, and anthemic choruses to propel his keenly felt observations of love and heartache. Born in Thunder Bay and based in Toronto, Sampson gained prominence in 2019 after uploading cover songs to his social media channel and issuing his debut single "Stay Here." Later that year, he teamed up with Aussie pop sensation Indiana Massara on the one-off single "Cold." Sampson cites 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction as inspirations, and their influences can be heard on subsequent social media pop hits like "All That We Could Have Been," "Play Pretend," and "BLIND, the latter of which appeared on his 2024 debut EP Blurry Vision.
