Ottis La Legende
Originally from Benin, Ottis La Légende entered the world of music in 2000 with the creation of his own group Biova. Alternating between "urban" music and the traditional aesthetics of his country, the singer developed his vocal techniques. Despite the group's difficulties in building up a structure, and facing minor economic repercussions, Ottis La Légende gradually turned towards a solo career. This began with "La camportion", the first single presented in 2018, before "Go Slow " (2019), which heralded an album of the same title. Released in 2020, this twenty-five-track debut presents the essence of the Beninese musician's music: both inspired by developments in global pop and featuring traditional Beninese music. The musician performed extensively in Africa, before presenting a new album a few months later, Owo (2020). Now launched, Ottis La Légende continues his career with a number of singles, including "Afolologbé" (2021), "Bizzi" (2022) and "Apoutchou " (2023), which have established him as the hope of Beninese music in the eyes of his fans.
