Dasha
Anna Dasha Novotny, who operates under the moniker Dasha, is a California-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter with a sound rooted in pop and country. Citing Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Avril Lavigne as inspirations, Dasha started uploading songs and videos to her TikTok channel in 2020. After releasing a string of singles including the streaming hits "Olivia" and "Love Me 'Til August," she issued her debut album, Dirty Blonde, in 2023. Later that year, she found mainstream success when her single "Austin" and its accompanying line-dancing video went viral, garnering three billion views on TikTok and 75 million streams. The song appeared on Dasha's 2024 sophomore full-length effort and major-label debut, What Happens Now?
