Rock ‘n’ roll is the only thing that matters! For this ambitious project, five men with a look of tattooed bad boys and soft hearts: Jeremy Fury (vocals), Craig Bonich and Patrick Meyer (guitars), Stevie Fury (drums) and Bobby Ever (bass).
Already explosive with their first album American Dreamer, followed in 2016 by Into the Night, these Americans lost in the 50s release Remember This on the label Yep Roc. Cool, retro, fascinating, rousing: it’s sexy rock that has everything going for it.
The first title, Remember This, opens on a drum domination that bodes well for the rest. Rock ‘n’ roll rhythms, marked guitar riffs and overpowering choruses, no time to catch your breath, the rest grasps you. Jeremy & The Harlequins even have fun covering Madonna’s hit Like A Prayer in an Americana version, with Spanish-sounding acoustic guitars and claps of hands. Olé!
