Running throughout November and December, Festival Bach Montréal, founded by Alexandra Scheibler in 2005, has steadily grown into a major cultural event. The festival’s mission is to unite world-renowned soloists, ensembles, and orchestras, showcasing their mastery of Bach’s repertoire. In addition to established artists, the festival actively champions emerging Canadian talent, making classical music accessible to a diverse and urban audience.

Known for its innovative approach to classical music, Festival Bach Montréal stages performances as part of its Off-Bach series in unconventional venues and is dedicated to producing and commissioning new works. The festival’s Off-Bach initiative, featuring free concerts and discussions, underscores its commitment to making classical music accessible to a broad audience.
