Timesbold
Jason Merritt, Max Lichtenstein, and Dan Goebel comprise the indie rock outfit Timesbold. The trio, which hails from Brooklyn, made a big splash overseas with its debut single, "Sewn in Seams," in spring 2001. The Woe Be Gone EP made a bigger impression later that fall, positioning Timesbold for sold-out shows across Europe. A self-titled studio full-length appeared in Belgium and Holland in spring 2002, eventually selling more than 2,500 copies. A distribution deal with Secretly Canadian saved stateside fans the next year when Timesbold finally saw its domestic release.
