SOULFIA
Under the alias of SOULFIA, Chilean vocalist Sofía Walker found a middle ground between the smooth sounds of contemporary R&B and passionate urbano.
Developing an interest in piano and singing at the age of five, Walker turned her childhood ambitions into a full-blown career. SOULFIA's debut single, 2019's "Toda la Noche,” was a sensual, nocturnal mix of R&B and passionate urban sounds with lyrics focusing on unrequited love. Her growing catalog of work embraced various styles, with electronic influences on “Dolce & Gabbana” and "Cómplices," swinging balladry on "All to You," and glossy trap for the striding "City Girls." After kicking off the following year with singles "Pantera" and "Ten Cuidao," Walker put her singles together for the GÉNESIS EP, a collection of sultry anthems that folded traditional Latin rhythms into modern styles including reggaeton, pop, and trap.
