RMR
Emerging in 2020 with the eclectic country-rap ballad "Rascal," anonymous musician RMR uses his vocal chops to fully embrace the melodic side of trap. His first project, the EP Drug Dealing Is a Lost Art, was released in June of 2020.
Maintaining his anonymity with a balaclava, the masked musician surfaced in February 2020 with the eccentric "Rascal," a bizarre semi-cover of Rascal Flatts' "Bless the Broken Road" with imagery focusing on street life. Gaining viral momentum with his debut, the rapper followed this with the more emotive "Dealer" the subsequent month, soon enlisting Future and Lil Baby for the song's remix. His debut EP, Drug Dealing Is a Lost Art, surfaced in June the same year, with further features from Young Thug and Westside Gunn. Taking the more focused sing-rap approach of contemporaries like Rod Wave and Don Toliver, the EP featured four new tracks, a Young Thug-assisted remix to "Rascal" and RMR's singles to date.
