Rhyan Douglas
Rhyan Douglas makes a yearning hybrid of R&B, folk, and soul that he pairs with lush, ethereal production. Based outside of Toronto, the singer, songwriter, and guitarist collaborated with producers like Wondagurl and Eli Brown ahead of his 2024 debut EP, Circles.
Raised in Brampton, Ontario, Douglas found his voice singing in a local youth choir. He continued to nurture his voice and later began writing songs inspired by artists like Thundercat, Sam Smith, and Frank Ocean. He signed with Sony while still in his teens and debuted with the sultry 2023 single "Last Page." Along with the acoustic follow-up single "Young & Reckless," Douglas did a tour supporting 6LACK, then kicked off 2024 with a series of eclectic singles like "Conversations" and "Spin the Block," both of which were included on his nine-song debut EP, Circles, released in March.
