Regy Clasen
Regy Clasen came into her own as a palpable force on the German charts in the early 2000s with her smooth, warm vocals and R&B sensibilities. She first appeared on the German music scene in the early '90s as a member of the fun-loving a cappella ensemble Five Live. The group came to a sad end in 1997 when member Conny Stahl died, and Clasen disappeared from the limelight for three years. She returned to the public eye in 2000 with the release of her first solo effort, So Nah (So Close). Clasen's second album, Wie Tief Ist das Wasser, followed in 2004.
