N'Dambi
Contemporary R&B singer N'Dambi was born in Dallas, taking up the piano as a child; she first emerged as a backing vocalist for Erykah Badu, later contributing to her 1997 breakthrough album Baduizm. N'Dambi's solo debut, Little Lost Girls Blues, followed in 1999.
