Kim Cesarion
Swedish vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kim Cesarion makes passionate, soulful electronic-infused contemporary R&B and pop. Born in Stockholm in 1990, Cesarion grew up in a musically inclined, multi-cultural family with a Guadeloupean dancer/singer/record producer father and Swedish-Greek musician mother. Starting on violin at age four, Cesarion quickly added piano, drums, and bass to his growing list of talents, eventually focusing on singing in high school where he received strict Russian classical training. At home, however, he found inspiration in such varied styles as soca, zouk, dancehall, funk, and plenty of modern R&B cuts from his idols Prince, D’Angelo, and Stevie Wonder. At age 20, Cesarion caught the attention of producer/songwriter Arnthor Birgisson, who helped the budding Swedish artist sign a management deal with Aristotracks. In 2014, Cesarion released his debut album, Undressed, which featured the title track along with the singles "Brains Out" and "I Love This Life."
