Jun

Singer, dancer, and actor Jun – born Wen Junhui on June 10, 1996, in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China – is best known as a member of K-Pop boy band Seventeen. Growing up in China, he began his career at the age of two, appearing in TV commercials before acting in films in Hong Kong and China. He won the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild’s Best New Actor Silver Award for his role in 2006’s The Pye Dog. In 2012, Jun moved to South Korea to work with Pledis Entertainment, who placed him on several televised Seventeen projects between 2013 and 2015. Seventeen released their debut EP, 17 Carat, in 2015. They followed that up with the hit albums Love & Letter (2016) and Teen, Age (2017). In 2018, he appeared solo as a contestant on the Chinese televised talent show Chao Yin Zhan Ji and co-hosted a music series entitled YO! BANG. Jun issued his first solo single, “Can You Sit By My Side,” in December 2018. He returned to Seventeen for their 2019 release, An Ode, before returning to his solo career with the 2021 singles “Crow” and “Silent Boarding Gate.” 2022 proved to be a busy year for Jun as Seventeen released their Number 1 album Face the Sun in May and he issued his fourth solo single, “Limbo” (in both Korean and Chinese) in September.
