Guillotina
Latin rock outfit Guillotina debuted with the release of a self-titled album that was produced in 1993 by Jack Endino and released a year later. The band started touring Europe while issuing a single called "Todo Sigue Igual," having the opportunity to play at Los Angeles' Palace and Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes soon after. In 1997, Rock Mata Pop was recorded, and Guillotina achieved their second hit single, a song titled "Aquí." After becoming an opening act for Def Leppard, the Mexican group joined el Tri's tribute album, called Tri...Buto, and covered "Pobres los Niños." The group issued Mientras el Resto Sigue in 1998. During December 1999 and April 2000, Erre O Ce Ka was recorded, and it included "Sin Saber."
