Christian French

Singer/songwriter Christian French has a laid-back, hooky sound that straddles the line between pop, hip-hop, and R&B. After breaking through with his 2018 debut viral single "Fall for You," he released the Natural Colors EP. French further showcased his romantic, emotive sound with the 2019 EP Bright Side of the Moon and 2020's Good Things Take Time. Born Christian Blake French in 1997, he grew up in Fishers, Indiana where he gravitated toward the music of John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, and SoMo. As a teenager, he taught himself to play piano learning cover songs, which he posted online. While attending college at Indiana University, he started writing his own songs and working with producer Triegy. Together, they released French's debut single, "Fall for You," which caught on online. More singles followed, paving the way for French to travel to Los Angeles, where he worked with producer Dru De Caro and issued his Natural Colors EP in December 2018. Around the same time, he joined Chelsea Cutler on tour. In 2019, French released his sophomore EP, Bright Side of the Moon, which included the single "Hungover Sunday." He also guested on Hoodie Allen's single "Come Around" and joined Quinn XCII on tour. A fourth EP, Good Things Take Time, arrived in the summer of 2020.
