Braden Bales

Braden Bales is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer who combines raw and revealing lyrics with crafty beats and earworm melodies peppered with subtle electronics. In 2021, the Oakville, Ontario native started channeling the lowlights of his late teens into therapeutic indie pop songs like "Perrier," Evil Aphrodite," and "Blow My Brains." He teamed up with Kathryn Engel on the heartfelt "I Found Your Sweatshirt" the following year, and he kicked off 2023 with the massive streaming hit "Chronically Cautious," which resulted in a record deal with Geffen. Bales touched on themes of overcoming anxiety and stress on the motivating "Pick Me Up," his first single for the label, which appeared later that year.
