Angie Heaton
Indie rocker Angie Heaton first surfaced in the short-lived Urbana, Illinois-based trio Corndolly; in the wake of the release of the group's posthumously issued 1995 eponymous debut LP, she signed on with Liquorette, appearing on their collection While You Work, I Sleep before finally going solo with 1996's Calamities and Restitution. Heaton's sophomore effort, Sparkle, followed in 1998. In 2004, Heaton returned with Let It Ride, released on Parasol. Three years later, The Rumor Mill, which featured Heaton's Gentle Tamers band, arrived.
